Where do we find the RPGU ad on your site? HEREYour site url: http://z10.invisionfree.com/SIMPLETHINGSA summary of your site:
The vast hazes of green smoke obscuring what was once a beautiful country have been lifted. The once-beautiful country, so damaged in its parts, picks up after the battles and debris and detritus. A new Minister of Magic and a new body to preside over the school. What do we do now, asked the victorious students, dirt caked on their faces. Their hair singed. Their bodies reeking of floating magic, particles, and of curses shot at and from them. The dead lay around them, corpses and dead, and they know it is time to start a new beginning. Within this mass confusion. The victorious students look upon the battle that was once before them and decide that building a future would probably be the wisest thing to do ...
YEARS AND YEARS LATER ...
'Oi, oi! Pick up your socks, now, it's time to go!'
The large morning fog that sweeps over the beautiful country is worrying some of the mothers and fathers, who are sending their children back to school for the second semester. It's a new year! And the fog settling outside of London, pure white and grey, worries the mothers and fathers -- is this an auspicious start for their children? But there's no time to think about that, when your children are in front of the radio and playing with their Christmas toys, still! The mothers and fathers slap their children lightly, playfully, and tell them to put on their warmest robes (You don't want to go to Hogwarts with a cold, first thing!). The children storm out of the house, clambering, knotted laces and tangled hair and happy smiles. The crimson train is awaiting them, steam puffing out as it has for so many years, and the students search desperately for their friends and a compartment.
No, the war hasn't been forgotten.
You'd be ostracised for forgetting the horrible effects of the fighting. The deaths. The smoke. The everything.
There are some orphans, some people missing siblings, some people missing their best friends. But, for now, it'll do. It's been a little over two decades since the Second Wizarding War (hopefully, the war to end all wars) and the Wizarding World is lively, still recovering from mild aftershocks. Harry Potter is now Head of the Auror Office; his three children attend Hogwarts and are small celebrity figures there. The valiant Ron and Hermione Weasley are changing the Wizarding World, too, and their children are in school.
The War has left society with so many heroes. They helped bring about a new day -- without all the prejudice, and without all the restraints. The elitists have pleaded wrong, have been sentenced and punished for their crimes, have tried to forget. The abject are flourishing: their lives grand and full of ease. Mostly.
So the year is 2023. Things are bright! There is culture and no fear of a Dark Lord (or, worst yet, a Dark Lady!). Hogwarts is still accepting students, as it always has for hundreds of years. Pranks are around, thanks to the Weasley family's establishment, echoing the doings of a group of students almost half a century ago. Lessons are taught and minds are brightened. The future is optimistic for the Wizarding world! Humane, revolutionised. What are you waiting for!
Congratulations!
