I knew when I came to Forks, things would be different, my way of life would change

Bella Swan has moved to Forks and her arrival has caused a stir amongst the students for whom a new one amongst them is a rare sight in this rarely increasing tiny population of Forks. The most contrasting place to come for someone who is used to eternal sunshine and blistering heat, you would think. But there is a lot more going on at Forks than she realises, than anyone realises. Not everyone at Forks is human and not all residents are friendly. In fact Bella has stumbled upon a battlefield so old and so secretive that it is even lost amongst the legends of Forks. The age old story of vampires and werewolves is about to be awakened again and it is all thanks to the new arrivals.

That’s right, Bella is not the only one moving to Forks this year. In a surprise turn of events numerous students are travelling from their home states to come and live in the wettest part of Washington. These new arrivals are also drawing in nomad vampires meaning that the wolves have to be on their guard too. This only heightens the resentment between the wolves and the Cullens, a vampire vegetarian family who have set up residence here. Even they too have become concerned about the new arrivals and the nomads who have been following them. There is nothing to connect these students but surely these nomads must have some reason why they are following them. Or perhaps there is something. Maybe these students are getting a little too close to figuring out what the nomads are.

The wolves are getting restless too now that a rival wolf pack has come to guard Port Angeles. However their idea of ‘guarding’ is to start up a rivalry with the La Push gang. Jacob Black is about to start his transition into the world of wolves and his anger levels are pretty high right now as are those of the other ‘cubs’. Let’s hope the older ones keep them at bay before a war amongst their own kind breaks out.

Of course it’s not all bad news. A new pair of vampire covens have moved into the mountains. One is another vegetarian clan and the other is one that drinks the blood of werewolves. Both of these clans are here to assist the Cullens but with one clan dedicated the drinking of wolves blood for how long can they remain at peace with the La Push group?

The Volturi too are on the move and travelling. Are they looking for signs of trouble or are they just travelling for a change? Whatever the reason this isn’t looking good for the city of Forks. Everything’s closing in on this little Washington city and there doesn’t seem to be anything they can do. Rumours are rife but are they real?
