Twenty years ago, the United States government sanctioned two projects; The Lazarus Project and the Pandora Project. Both would use biochemical agents to provide a long lasting and effective tool in the military's arsenal.

The Lazarus Project, originally designed to act as field life support, used the body's own cell tissue to provide a sustained electron charge. The resulting charge would keep organs functional until proper medical help could be obtained. The agent used was deemed dangerous and used only in extreme cases, as the side effects ranged from muscle and bone loss to death. Over the next twenty years, Military scientists would come to perfect the formula, and the potency of the substance would allow for successful resuscitation of individuals who's organs had ceased function for no longer than one hour. With the final approvals pending in 2010, the Lazarus Project would drastically change the tides of every battle fought on enemy soil.

The Pandora Project was originally designed to be a more effective, undetectable and completely untraceable form of poison far superior to cyanide. The chemical agent used was a perfectly crafted mixture of neurotoxins and surface irritants. Originally used in the first Gulf War, the Pandora project was shelved due to the high volatility of the chemical in high temperatures. Work was immediately begun to make it more stable.
