A summary of your site:
The ghosts are becoming restless, they want out of their portals and into the real world - they want to be noticed. Yet there are the ones who want their existence to remain a secret. Of course, there are always the ones who are forcing them back into hiding. The ones that are calling themselves the 'ghost hunters'. But there are two teams, The Atlantic Paranormal Society (TAPS for short), and Ghost Hunters International (GHI for short), that believe they know exactly what they are doing and how to stop them. Of course, there's always going to be something in the way, and that's the vortex to the other side. By finding where to vortex is, they can defeat the purpose, and close it up.
However, more teams keep moving in on their findings, using it against the two teams, calling them frauds, fakes, and much more. The drama between the teams and the Ghost Hunters is becoming more visible than it ever was before. Add that on with the fans, who are constantly looking for reassurance that their favorite shows will still be there, the people who want their homes debunked, and everything else that is going on with them, they have their work cut out for them.
Can you survive the madness that is the team feuds, the ghosts, and the humans who want out? Only time will tell, and only you can choose your own story. The only luck that you could hope for is that everything will go right for you in the end, and that all will be normal for the people as well. Good luck to all, and hope that you will survive.

- It is once again time for our lovely newsletter, updating us on all things dealing with the Paranormal Society. We have happily had the Co-Founder of TAPS, Jason Hawes, join our crew once again. However, that doesn't mean that we aren't in need of canons. We do have quite a few, but to get things up and going, we are still in need of some major people, such as Barry Fitzgerald and Robb Demarest. That doesn't mean we aren't accepting Originals, though! Original characters are always welcome into our world. A lot has changed in the world that the teams are all familiar with, and some are a little shell-shocking. Upcoming in June, there will be a wedding - Everyone that knows and are close to Stephen Gonsalves and Dave Tango are invited! Also, in case you haven't heard, there are also two pregnancies on the board: Steve Gonsalves is pregnant (with twins!) and Riley Evans. Congrats to both families that are ready to welcome their bundles of joy into the world. There are also some very interesting story lines going on with a few of our other characters (a some-what relationship between TAPS member Alison Wilde and a Ghost? Destination Truth's Josh Gates sleeping with Kris Williams? WOAH!). If you are feeling new and slightly over-whelmed, don't fret! I know it can be difficult to incorporate your characters right off the bat, which is why we have a lovely Open Threads list.
- The site is doing very well, and is still very much active. Paranormal Society has reached Sixty members, which is a major feat. There is never a day that someone doesn't log on, so new members don't have to feel like they are being abandoned. Still going from the last month, the Tast Contest is still open and kicking, so don't forget to PM your achievments to Heather. For more information concerning this even, take a look here. Most of the members have been active, so there is no threats of the site dying anytime soon. This does, however, bring me to a topic that needs to be discussed. While we do have a lot of members, and most of which are active, there are those few that have seemed to have left us behind. As sad as that makes us, we understand that life gets in the way. If you have a character that you don't think you want anymore, or you need to take a break from the site (or leave), then please let one of the admins know so that we can keep the board clean. If you are leaving, but but spent a lot of time working on an original character that you don't want to see just die, then have no fears! We have this no feature called Adoption, where one can post the application to a character they have made, leaving it open for others to take and play should they want to do so. - It's that time of the month again - time for us to catch you up on what you've missed and what will be happening soon. The Ghost Hunters International team and Destination Truth team are still needing some of their key members to get up and running - the recruits are doing the best they can, but you just can't beat Ryder, Robb, or Barry. There is always room for originals in both teams and humans and fans alike. However, our teams have more than enough ghosts plaguing them right now, so there is a hiatus on those right now. Both pregnancies, Riley and her baby, and Steve and his twins, are going along great, and slowly they are both getting closer to their due dates. However, we have a special event coming up in about three weeks that everyone is invited to attend. Anyone that knows Steve Gonsalves or Dave Tango are invited to attend their wedding on June 17th - they even have people flying in from Las Vegas, Nevada to join in the festivities. For more information on this blessed event, just take a look at this thread. As always, don't feel threatened when creating a new character, or get overwhelmed by the amount of members. Unfortunately, we have a few people inactive, but there are always people around to post with. Take a look here to see a list of open threads that you are more than welcome to jump into.
- Paranormal Society has recently hit the six-month mark of being open, and for half a year of being open, it's doing very well and kicking. We have people get on every day, and threads are very much in session. New members don't have to worry about being abandoned, or joining a site that is going to die in just a few days - we aren't going to let that happen, have no fear. This month, like the last two, we have a Task Event going on. All achievements that you finish should be PMed to Heather. For more information on this challenge, head on over to this thread. Within the next week or two, we are also going to be having an activity check put into progress, so make sure to watch out for that and get your spot claimed and secured. Also, we do want to make sure that new members head on over to the face claims and fill out the forum so that we can mark your play-by as taken. We know that life gets hard and that people have to take breaks, we understand this better than some would think - after all, we have lives that can get in the way as well. However, if you know you're going to be away for a certain amount of time, please let one of the Admins on the Sidebar know, or post in the away thread.If you have any questions, comments, or concerns, please! - On to the next - newsletter, that is! That's right, it's that time of the month again. The bells have tolled, and the newlyweds, Mr. David and Stephen Tango, are still on their honeymoon in Prospect Harbor, Maine. Grant Wilson seems to be in the process of adding another little one to his household. To top it all, both pregnancies, Riley Carr and Stephen Tango, are getting close to being due - one's already had a premature labor scare! The teams are doing great, and they have a lot of their friends and family, but before the Destination Truth team and Ghost Hunters International crew can really take off, they are need of a few main members who seem to have went on 'break': Ryder, Robb, Barry, Paul, we're calling for you, baby. The ghosts seem to have sunken back into whatever world they came from, so if you're wanting to terrorize the living members of the board now, feel more than free to create a ghost and get to spooking them. TAPS, however, has grown in it's numbers, so until everyone can be sorted and told whether or not they will be staying, or until they have the chance to leave, there is a temporary ban on Original TAPS members. As always, don't feel threatened when creating a new character, or get overwhelmed by the amount of members.
- It's almost due - what you may ask? Well, the Paranormal Society baby, of course! The site is nearing it's nine-month created date, and we've got some pretty cool things coming up for the labor-day of the scary little monster. First off, there will be a new skin sometime soon, so keep your eyes open for the change. There will also be a new Challenge coming up soon, as soon as everything gets written down from Miss Devil (Aka - Heather)'s head, so watch for that one as well. The sign-up for the rotating banners is still active, so you'd like to see your face on the banner, just sign-up here. Check out the side-bar for the new Of The Months, congratulations to all the winners, you all deserved it! We ask all new members, or old members creating new characters, to remember to head to the face-claims thread so that it is obvious who all is taken as play-by's. With it being summer, and people out of school, we know it's harder to get on every day and get things done, and we all understand that. If you know you're going to be gone for an extended period of time, just PM one of the admin's on the side-bar, or post int he Away Forum.
