Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters
Mutation: it is the key to our evolution. It has enabled us to evolve from a single-celled organism into the dominant species on the planet. This process is slow, and normally taking thousands and thousands of years. But every few hundred millennia, evolution leaps forward.
Since the discovery of their existence they have been regarded with fear, suspicion, often hatred. Across the planet, debate rages. Are mutants the next link in the evolutionary chain or simply a new species of humanity fighting for their share of the world? Either way it is a historical fact: Sharing the world has never been humanity's defining attribute.
That is what Pro. Xavier has always said to me and the others. But i believe that there is two types of mutants, Those who fight for the people and Those who fight against the people. we here at Xavier's school for the gifted Youngsters, we teach all mutants to think for themselves and to use their powers without hurting the others around them. But there are others who do not think the way we do, The Brotherhood...
The Brotherhood believes that mutants are the next link in the evolution. That the Mutants will never be able to live along side the humans.
