The world is changing. Mutants, Meta Humans. Heroes and Villains. Some would argue there are no heroes, but no one can deny the work teams like the Avengers, The X Men, and the Fantastic Four have done. So the world changes, and not everyone likes change. Some call them freaks, degenerates.


A special government agency has now been formed. One that watches these mutants and meta humans. Watches both the teams that they work with, as well as those that work against the government. Dubbed S.H.I.E.L.D. they are just getting started and no one is clear on their motives. They both employ, and experiment with these new forms of humanity. They have absorbed the Weapon X program. Time Jump!


Things have finally settled, or seemingly. Scott returned to the Mansion with who everyone believes is Jean Grey and resumed classes. Letting Reed and Sue return to the Baxter building the students have settled back into school and mansion life. Meanwhile the Avengers are building and helping new mutants where they can. Jessica Drew has found a rather traumatized Wolverine, not knowing of what happened in a battle with Magneto he is slowly healing brain damage and the only one with any information of what really happened. Hidden away for a time as he recovers and slowly comes back to humanity.

On Genosha, Magneto is preparing. Having built his own version of Cerebro and insured the forced cooperation of the real Jean Grey, he searches for the lost mutants, the morlocks, those feeling the most persecuted, for they will be the ones coming to the island with open arms and faith. He knows that Scott and Mystique will be bringing the students and once on the island, there won't be a way to leave. He is sure this plan is set, with mutants and metahumans soon to have a nation of their own they will build, and work, and will eventually show the human race, who is truly the more superior.

But, Logan is still alive, and slowly remembering, the Avengers aren't as cut off from the X Men as Magneto believes and Sue and Reed are about to get some vital information that will end up helping them all from the Professor, who has been on Muir Island with the rescued mutants from the Friends of Humanity. Even with all of this, there is something darker working behind the scenes, something subtle that waits to strike, and watches as the heroes divide amongst themselves.


We have just had a major clean out so many canons available again! Looking for active players, canon or original that want to be players in the plots and develop real connections with other characters and teams.

GENOSHA



Meta humans and mutants alike are finding themselves on what should be an island paradise. Many have found the irony of it's resemblance to concentration camps of a past war too much to swallow. Choices abound and plotting secretly to escape, others are lost in the jungle and working to survive. There are a few, those left behind, desperately trying to find the island. To rescue those brought there and wanting off, and a select few harboring revenge in their mind.



We are a literate Marvel roleplay based on the world we live in. We accept originals and canon characters. Staff is hands on and welcoming, more then happy to work with members on not only adapting characters but folding them into plots to help them develop along the lines they envision.

It had been three months since the battle on Genosha. Most of the physical wounds of those injured had healed, other kinds of wounds take longer. The Avengers mourn the loss of Captain America even as their team grows to include Reed and Sue Richards, as well as Spiderman. Xavier's School attempts to rebuild as they welcome a new member of staff to help the students as well as new students. SHIELD and Fury are taking a stand in support of the school and of the Avengers. By this time, Magneto had used the attack on the island to his advantage, as usual. Able to get Genosha considered a sovereign nation, it is now a law unto itself, and has it's own political agenda, and power.

Three months, and so much, and so little has changed. Losses and injuries on all sides, rebuilding and plans. SHIELD believes it may have the upper hand, with the information on the double agent, they plan on taking him into custody, and Xavier has the leverage to get him to cooperate. Turn him against the Brotherhood, and Magneto. Magneto, has his own leverage, and now a country of his own. One he plans on making a force to deal with.

We are a Marvel roleplay taking our cues from the movies and bringing Marvel into a more real world setting. While we accept almost any Marvel canon as well as originals our focus has moved towards the Avengers, X men, and Brotherhood, with other canon joining or helping one team or another. Some staying independent and forging out on their own. Our plots are ever evolving around our members and both their suggestions and interaction.
