* LONDON MARIE CLARK !!

in case you didn't notice it, my name is LONDON, but most people just call me LONNIE. I turned 16 this year and couldn't be happier. Some people think I am a little strange because I attend a magic school, Hogwarts to be exact, but I love it. I was sorted into HUFFLEPUFF on my first day and think it's a perfect fit. My favorite class would have to be TRANSFIGURATION because I am so darn good, but I really stink at CHARMS and wish it would go away. I use a ROSEWOOD, 10” and GRIFFEN FEATHER wand and it works just fine for me! I have this amazing pet owl named FLUFFERS and it's the best bird a GIRL like me could ask for. If I am not WRITING MUSIC, you'll probably find me chasing the BOYS around in hopes of finding a date. We'll I'll catch you around! * I took a ride on february morning !!
EYES:HAIR:London likes to wear her dark brown locks long to allow the loose curls to show off their natural charm. She does enjoy putting her hair into interesting hair does and has a slew of bobby pins, ribbons, barrettes and bows to use in a box in her trunk. Most often however she enjoys wearing it down to show off it’s length, which she feels in impressive given her penchant for needing to change constantly.
BODY AND POSTURE:London finds herself still stuck between bodies. Though she’s begun to develop a bosom, she still finds it frustrating that the shirts she likes look so much better on her bustier friends when they borrow her clothes. Her hips are on the round side, but not as much as her mother’s, she seems to have inherited more traits from her father’s side of the family in respect to her appearance. Like most young women her age, London likes to slouch and hardly ever stands straight. But this harkens to her naturally laid back personality; of course her mother would just love it if she stood up straighter once in awhile. Standing at 5’2” she’s on the short side for the members of her family but doesn’t let that stop her from trying to reach things on her tip toes.
STYLE:London’s style is all over the place and she feels that it's unique and stylish all at the same time. Some might call it a complete lack of regard to matching colors but London somehow makes it work. Of course, there are some who feel that she could certainly use a lesson as to why your shoes should match your purse but she wouldn’t have any of that. London feels that clothing is an outward expression of her personality and therefore, something that simply cannot be compromised.

BOGGART:London’s boggart is a pile of ashes meant to represent her grandfather. When she was seven she accidentally knocked the urn where they were kept off the mantle and since then has been unable to fathom how a body could be reduced to a mere pile of dust. The thought not only creeps her out but coupled with the guilt she felt when it happened makes it much worse than a case of the “creeps”.
DEMENTOR:When London was five she had a muggle friend that lived down the street from her. They went through everything together and were very close. London of course never told her friend that she came from a magical family so naturally she couldn’t tell her friend the exact reason WHY they wouldn’t be going to the same school together when London turned 11 and got her letter. Her friend grew so angry with her that after a few harsh words the girl walked out on her and she’s never seen or spoken to her again. Since that day one of the most depressing things that London can even begin to think about is loosing her close friends. Though she makes them easily and has many and others might think she takes them for granted at times London feels deeply hurt whenever a relationship goes wrong or thinking it will go wrong.
ERISED:London sees herself as a successful and award winning singer/songwriter. Though that seems a bit shallow London also has every intention of donating to charitable causes (both wizarding and muggle) and thusly sees herself sporting such signs as: “Encourage literacy!” and “Save the Newts!”
PATRONUS:AMORTENTIA:+ Fresh baked bread
+ Orchids
+ Fresh Cut Grass
VERITASERUM:London likes to keep her secrets however, if forced to tell she would admit that she was actually the one that broke her grandfather’s urn when she was seven instead of swearing she was nowhere NEAR it when it fell. London also adores reading trashy romance novels, something she won’t admit because her mother forbade her to read them until she was older.
COMPLETE PERSONALITY:First things first, Lonnie is LOUD. It’s not that she demands she be the center of attention at every function she just gets excited and looses the ability to concentrate on the volume level of her voice. Having the natural ability to project can sometimes be a blessing and a curse, though she can easily call a friend from across the room, in places like the library or museums with her family she often finds herself frustrated and snappish when told she is too loud. This is for the simple fact that London is trying to keep quiet, but often slips without realizing it. As far as that temper of hers goes, well, it’s rather irregular. There are times when every little thing will upset her and just as many times when nothing seems to bother her at all. Some of her roommates have tried to record this behavior but they’ve failed to document a reliable pattern. Truth of the matter is that there are very small minute things that anger her to the point of loosing her temper. One is when her things are put in order since she can never find anything which of course leads to frustration and London was never very good at dealing with frustration in a timely manner. Another is stress, now this isn’t stress from studies or social problems, it comes from repetition. London HATES it when people repeat things, especially to her, especially in a yelling or angry tone and ESPECIALLY when it’s one thing after another, she simply can’t cope.
London loves change and will often rearrange things in her room at home for the sole purpose of it; she has yet to convince her roommates at school that the beds would look so much better in a different configuration. The constant need to change things around often leaves her feeling depressed and irritated when she has to remain static and stationary for long periods of time. School uniforms are her biggest pet peeve for the monotony of it all, but she gets over that by putting her hair up in all sorts of crazy hairdos. Heaven forbid that she looks the same as everyone else. Being different is what she thrives on. Her creative nature blossoms and runs rampant with her often so she’s prone to daydreaming and random scribbling of notes and musical lyrics. She’s not the most proficient person at homework and often procrastinates but somehow she manages to scrape up passing grades by the skin of her teeth. However, grades are not what’s on London’s mind first and foremost. She wants to be a singer and even though she has the talent to make it, she has to get over her stage fright first! It causes her much consternation the fact that she knows she shouldn’t be scared but yet she is. Those duel feelings are often enough to drive her over the edge when she thinks about them. To make matters worse she enjoys performing in front of small groups of people like her friends in the common room but it seems that whenever faced with a large group of her peers her stage fright kicks in. This naturally frustrates her to no end.
London can be disgustingly optimistic. She believes in the good of all people, even Slytherin’s. It’s this boundless optimism that usually keeps her from becoming fed up and frustrated with her life as a whole. After all, it could always be worse! She’s also one of those genuinely funny people who likes to have a good time. One of her favorite hobbies besides writing music is juggling and she’s always practicing in order to add more balls to her routine. She likes the relaxed state that juggling often puts her in and allows her to ponder and think about things she normally wouldn’t. In addition, the energy that she exhibits often comes in handy when she’s not feeling so healthy. In fact one might not even realize she’s sick until she tells. It’s rather odd then that someone so outgoing and active is in fact quite secretive. She wants to keep her secrets from people and in turn she never pries into theirs. It isn’t that London has a horrible secret in her past that would affect the very fabric of her being she simply believes that one has every right to keep some parts of their life private from others.

HOMETOWN:BLOOD LINE:COMPLETE HISTORY:Dromio and Cassandra Clark met at Hogwarts when they were in their 5th and 4th years, respectively. Both were studious Ravenclaws, Cassandra coming from a half-blood family and Dromio from a second generation muggleborn family as an only child. They didn’t hit it off right away, more like, through a series of heated debates that wound up with their first kiss is what really got the relationship going even if they didn’t admit to that until they were much older when a curious 13-year-old London began to ask those dreamy, innocent questions. The couple was married a few years after Cassandra graduated and their son Darren was born shortly after. The Clarks wanted more children but after Cassandra had a difficult pregnancy with London they decided that two was plenty.
London was born on a calm summer evening in June with nary a fuss, something that ultimately deceived her parents. As a baby she was quiet, good natured, hardly fussed and slept through the night. Upon hitting the age of two however the once quiet child who only spoke one or two words every hour began to talk…a lot more. Suddenly it was as if London was a completely different child. Her terrible two’s revealed that she was going to be a chatterbox loud enough to be heard across the store when she got excited. London loved to read and would often spend hours in a chair at home reading fairytales and other stories. One of her other favorite things was to color and go exploring in the family’s backyard which was quite large to the inquisitive 5 year-old. She developed a love of music early on thanks to her grandmother Harriet who stayed with Cassandra and Dromio from when she was four to eleven. This decision was made by the entire family after Harriet’s husband George died when London was three. Harrient had an extensive collection of wizarding albums as well as muggle ones as well, specifically jazz and the newest songs on the radio she played when she was home schooling London and Darren.
London got her first guitar from her Aunt Kristina and Uncle Patrick when she was eight. They’d meant to get her a paint sent but the guitar arrived by accident, since they didn’t have time to get her another gift (it was Christmas) they gave it to her anyway. London immediately fell to trying to learn how to play it. She’d already been trying her hand at writing music since she was six, nothing sophisticated obviously, silly little nonsense songs that children often make up. Now that she had a guitar to work with she focused more on learning the chords than trying to write lyrics to the songs she pieced together after hours of practice. Of course learning was slow going, London had other things to do at such a young age, chasing frogs, learning about dinosaurs, playing with the other children in the neighborhood. Of course, she would always come back to that guitar that she stored carefully in her room. Lately learning the guitar has been an ongoing experience for London since now most of her time is spent at school where she doesn’t always find time to practice her juggling let alone practice her music. Her guitar is also far too big to bring to school with her. However she does carry around sheaf’s of music lined paper that she not only scribbles music down on whenever she can but class notes as well if she runs out of parchment. London has only shared her dream of stardom with a few people for the fear of her deepest wish getting out, but also, she’s tired of hearing that she needs a more realistic goal from her parents.
London was excited when she got her Hogwarts letter, except she was uncertain about what house she’d be placed in. Her brother Darren had found himself in Gryffindor while her cousin Lawrence wound up in Ravenclaw like her parents and Aunt and Uncle. Shopping at Diagon Alley was a wonderful experience though she’d been there before to shop for her brother. Somehow everything seemed new and different when she was now shopping for herself. Darren helped her pick out a pet and though he suggested she pick a cat (he had a white female cat named “Sunny”) London decided on a tawny owl she soon dubbed “Fluffers”. Of course the most exciting part was not when she bought her books, or got her owl, it was when she got her wand. Standing in the wand shop, feeling how wonderful it was when the wandmaker finally found the one that fit her, it was fantastic, she finally felt, complete somehow. She wouldn’t feel that feeling again until she was called up to the stool to have the Sorting Hat placed upon her head. Though London had often wondered what house she might wind up in the Sorting Hat apparently knew exactly where to put her. It was barely upon her head before it shouted out: “Hufflepuff!” and she went to join the new members of her household.
Over the years Lonnie has grown out of her tomboyishness and became interested in things like makeup, accessories and how to do her hair. She quickly discovered that her favorite class was Transfiguration while her least favorite class…was charms. She has more problems with executing a charm than she does remembering to write to her parents on a regular basis. She’s working more diligently these days trying to write more original music and proving to her family that she does have what it takes to be a singer, but with the grades she got on her OWLS she’s on the fast track for a ministry job like her father, most likely in the Department of Magical Transportation. London is wondering if she can’t swing a job on the radio somewhere until she can make it big but she doesn’t want to worry her parents. She’s very conflicted at the moment on whether to pursue her dream or play it safe with what her parents want. Though normally she can be termed independent she does realize that not everyone can be a superstar and has begrudgingly realized that she might be one of those many that don’t. However London’s optimism prevents her from fully deciding one way or another. She has every intention of at least trying to make her goal a reality after she graduates. Thank goodness she still has time left in school to think about it!
