What is it exactly you have here on RPGU?We have A LOT of things here at RPGU that are available to members only. - Ear to the Underground:
Whenever a server crashes, a major site is down or something like that, we'll update as soon as we can with what we know. There's also a place for members to post news they think can be of importance. - You can submit your board!

Why can I not post my site link in the cboxBecause that is considered spam. We have options avalable for promoting your site! We have our shiny directory, you can apply to become an affiliate, or you can buy an advertisement to be put on the top of RPGU!
Can I be on staff?Maybe. We'll post a topic when and if staff positions opens up, and everyone can apply to become a staff member.
Why isn't Malin answering my PM?Because she's lazy, basically. I get a lot of PMs, I read them and usually think I'll reply later but never do. If you have asked such a thing as "is this topic okay?" and don't get an answer, you may assume that I don't have any troubles with it.
However, I would prefer that if you had any RPGU related question, that you asked them here. That way your question will be answered much more quickly by any of the staff members.
That said, don't be afraid to PM me. I'm not unapproachable or cruel. I just think all your questions will be answered sooner if asked in the questions forum.
Why was my topic moved?Because you posted it in the wrong area. There's usually a small snippet of info written on the top of every forum, or an info thread pinned. Please read this!
Why was my submission into your directory not accepted?Chances are, you either didn't fill out the form correctly, or you didn't provide the ad or link-back to RPGU. Please read the provided info and try again. It's not that hard! We want you in our directory, so please try again!
I got a PM from someone asking me to join their forum. What do I do?Please forward the PM to either MALIN! , CARRIE! or MANDA!
I want everyone to know my forum is there. Why can't I PM spam?Because it's annoying, and it will probably do more harm than good in your recruiting process. Submit your ad to our directory.
I saw a character in 'Homes for Displaces Characters' that I want for my site. What do I do?You reply to the thread and say why you think this character is such a great fit for your site/plot/whatever. Then chances are the player behind that character will actually come play with you!
Simply posting your site's ad in all the threads in that forum looks a lot like spamming, though. It's impersonal, and it'll make the player behind the character think you simply want new members, not that you want that exact character because of their awesomeness. And, it kinda annoys me. Don't be that guy.
Why is Malin so easily annoyed?No one knows. It passes quickly. (:
What is a site builder?It is someone who helpes you build your site, basically.
They can help install skins, pips, etc, help with making forum, user groups, permission masks and so forth. They can even help you pick out good apps, plots or whatever you need for your site!
Can I charge someone actual money to build sites for them?No!
All payment on RPGU is made by RPGU tokens or virtual cookies.
Why can't we start political debates?Because they tend to get out of hand, and can get really ugly when people get fired up. So let's stay away from arguing about politics, religion and such things.
We encourage everyone to have an opinion on these things, but please take your political debates to forums assigned for that.
How do you pick which RPGs goes in the 'Admins Picks Area'?Basically, they are RPGs that stand out. Or simply ones we're playing at ourselves. The admin picks refelects our personal opinions, and shouldn't be taken too seriously. Your taste may vary from ours.
